Requirements for opening a new bloc as per Afaal’s Standard Operating Procedures are as follows:

 

1. A new bloc can only be formed by spurring from an existing bloc
2. The bloc needs to have at least 5 people
3. Every new bloc must submit a statement of work, in the request, that includes:
   • what the bloc wants to achieve (objective)
   • how to achieve it (strategy)
   • the main activities that this will entail (tactics / scope of work) including deliverables and timeline whenever needed.
4. Upon joining the new bloc, members leave the existing bloc
5. The coordinator of the new bloc stays in the existing bloc

 

The coordinators of the new blocs should meet regularly with the coordinator of the existing bloc for updates
